Youth Group - Grades 7 and Up

Our Junior Youth Program runs Friday evenings during school term out of St Columba's Iona Centre. Our average night includes small group time, killer games and teaching about life from one of our leaders, so come along and find out who this Jesus guy is and ask big questions about life. We develop most of our content for grades 7-10, but those in grade 11 or 12 are more than welcome if they want to come hang out and/or help. Bring a friend and a gold coin for supper.

When and Where: 7-9pm Friday during school term in St Columba Iona Centre - 5 Iona Avenue.

 Tuesday Night Youth Small Group

If you're in grade 9 and up, the main point of call for you is probably our youth Bible Study. We're dedicated to see our young people realise and fulfil the unique potential and purpose they are given. We usually tackle a central topic for the evening while working through the book of John, and then apply to our own lives so we can go out encouraged and equipped.

Future Plans

If you want any information on any of the following ideas, please contact us at

Certificate III in Ministry and Theology

In the future we would love to run a certificate in ministry and theology for senior school students. This can either be run through a particular school, or just through our church for a mix of students from different schools. This would include a practical elements as well as theological teaching from a variety of sources. All assessment would be handled either online or through a local university.

Gap Year

Also on the table are the idea of running a gap year program for young adults wanting to find out more about themselves and their faith, or looking to pursue ministry as a vocation. Regardless of where you are in your Christian walk, we want to journey with you intently for a year in the light of the Gospel.
